About Dr. Christian Palmer

Dr. Palmer is a distinguished chiropractic physician committed to providing non-surgical solutions for spinal disc injuries and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2023, graduating summa cum laude with the highest academic honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida, where he focused his studies on biomechanics and movement disorders.

Dr. Palmer’s professional journey was profoundly shaped by a personal experience. In 2018, following a serious weightlifting injury that caused debilitating lower back and radiating leg pain, he sought care from a chiropractor. Diagnosed with a lumbar disc herniation, he underwent non-surgical spinal decompression therapy—and within six weeks, he experienced complete resolution of his symptoms. This transformative recovery inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others avoid unnecessary spinal surgery.

“Motivated by His Own Healing”

During his doctoral training, Dr. Palmer developed advanced clinical expertise in a wide array of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson Drop, Activator, and Flexion-Distraction. He also received advanced training in soft tissue therapies, laser treatment, and acoustic wave (Shockwave) therapy. Dr. Palmer is certified in non-surgical spinal decompression and the treatment of peripheral neuropathy by Disc Centers of America, a national leader in disc injury care.

Following graduation, Dr. Palmer served in a high-volume auto-injury clinic, managing care for over 1,000 patients each month. There, he gained extensive experience in diagnosing disc injuries through X-ray and MRI interpretation. However, he frequently observed a clinical gap: when conventional chiropractic care and physiotherapy fell short, patients were often referred for orthopedic/ surgical consultations—an outcome Dr. Palmer was not satisfied with.

Motivated by his own healing experience and clinical success with decompression therapy, Dr. Palmer founded Palmer Spine in partnership with Disc Centers of America – Oviedo. Together, they bring a state-of-the-art, patient-centered healing center to East Orlando, focused on non-invasive, results-driven care for spinal disc conditions and neuropathies.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Palmer relocated to Central Florida in 2015 after serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He now lives and practices in Oviedo, Florida, where he remains deeply committed to helping patients reclaim their quality of life through advanced, conservative care.
